Today, I just packed the red bean buns for my girl for her recess time.... and had prepared extra set for the cute boy in her kindergarten too, Yung...

I've brushed some chocolate paste on the cookies cutters and stamp on the buns before bake, the result turned out acceptable.... I need more practice on the chocolate brushing.. anyway my daughters like them very much :D

For tonite dinner, I've outlined the little girl based on the picture on my girls' reading book ....

little girl : ham, coloured egg sheets, boiled kombu, nori and cheese, a cupcake food pick
food in the box : chives tamagoyaki, Japanese style fried chicken , broccoli, sweet peas, tomato slice and green leaf

Bento #144 Little Prince With Watermelon Chocolate

this bento was prepared on Wednesday :)

the prince: butter roll with nori details, and decorated with crown topper
other food: sweet peas, cherry, kiwi and some watermelon wrapped chocolate

theses are the butter rolls baked recently, is really yummy, the texture is soft and fluffy......

and this the chinese steamed yam cake (taro cake) that I have made last weekend....

Bento #143 Little Tiger Bento

This tiger bento is for tonite dinner, requested by my younger girl... she's only 2yrs plus, and I know she cannot finish the whole bento by herself, so I asked her to share with her elder sister...:P
anyway,  I've added additional dish for her sister, and a bowl of soup for each of them too...

I've mixed the white rice with green food powder, the tiger is made from cheese and nori for the details...other food are tamagoyaki, sauteed mix vege, broccoli and cherry.

Hamtaro are homemade cocoa bread stuffed with pandan kaya and butter spread, other food in the box are sweet corn, cherry, broccoli and quail egg in flower shaped.
